In this episode of Dice Over Everything, we finally play Warhammer 40k 9th edition, and give our impressions of it, going back to the newest edition of the game that started it all for us. We talk a bit about our history with the game, and what we think of this latest version, what's good about it, what's bad, and who this game is for.

Rules bloating is exactly why I can’t play warhammer. I honestly would prefer something more epic or warmaster-style - like, you still have different factions with different units and special rules, but with no infinite additional layers of subfaction rules, stratagems, auras etc etc. From certain point it just becomes a list of rules that I will mostly forget about midgame.
